WE ARE RAVERS MEET-UP

It was my first time going to a shuffle meetup so it was a bit nerve-racking at first but Francis and the shuffle community made me feel welcome! Great environment for anyone wanting to practice or show-off regardless of skill-level 😊.

I love the venue and space to test out new tricks, Francis always helping me with my spins and learning new combos, having the mirrors really helps with seeing how much I favour my right leg 🥹 DJs are awesome feels like a mini day rave, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I watch them in awe, can’t wait to see the glory days of melbourne fed square shuffle meets again, I’ll be training and I’ll be waiting 😈 thank you Francis & bass captives for making this all possible! Amazing to see the crew bring back shuffle meetups! Everyone is super kind and happy to share their knowledge of the dance and the studio itself is perfect for practice with smooth wood floors and a full mirror wall. I'll be here every month :)

Where do I begin? The last ever meet up I ever went to goes back 16 yrs ago and thought not long after bubble did it begin to disappear.
Introduced by a fellow friend about this and was I amazed with the turn out. Friendly and great fun which I'll be coming back for.

I hadn't been to a shuffle meetup in over 10 years so I was a little hesitant in going in, meeting all new faces again and attempting to shuffle. I was absolutely blown away by how kind and welcoming everyone was to having me there. After getting back into the game again I was then welcomed into Bass Captives with open arms and I finally found my people. Thank you Francis and to everyone in Bass Captives!
